ADHD Parent Support Groups
One-month support groups for parents of ADHD children
Parenting a child with ADHD can be a lonely experience. Other parents don’t always “get it.” It’s easy to feel judged, misunderstood, and even blamed when an ADHD child misbehaves or underachieves at school or home.
Networking and support groups are so important for parents of ADHD children. They are places of understanding and kindred souls—comprised of other parents who understand because they are living the same challenges.
Linda’s and Karen's ADHD support groups bring together parents who are in the trenches, while helping everyone learn how to help their ADHD child.
Groups are offered both in-person and virtually, and welcome parents of ADHD children from school-age through young adult. Group members listen with sympathetic ears while appreciating the daily challenges of ADHD in a family. Linda and Karen use their ADHD coaching experience to educate participants about the science behind specific challenges, then guides families forward as they learn to address ADHD issues at home.
ADHD support groups are offered for:
- Parents of ADHD children and adolescents who struggle with executive function.
- Parents of ADHD children and adolescents who struggle with social skills.
- Parents of young adults who are having trouble launching into college or a career.
These groups are an affordable way for parents to access much-needed ADHD help and support. Group sizes are limited and meet twice a month for 60 minutes. Signups are on a rolling basis, for a month at a time.
